Welcome to Dreamy Pups!
We no longer allow visitors into our home to play and see puppies for our safety and the safety of our puppies.
You will pick your baby up from our home at time of pickup. I will be more than happy to facetime you.
Where Health, Quality and Loving Companionship Come First
One look may be all it takes for our puppies to steal your heart!
Dreamy Pups is a family-operated breeding program dedicated to raising beautiful, healthy and well-socialized companion puppies. We have lovingly raised small companion breeds since 2006, and every puppy is born and raised inside our home as part of our family.
Health, temperament and quality are at the heart of everything we do. Our breeding adults are genetically health tested through Embark, and we carefully research pedigrees and bloodlines before planning each breeding. Our goal is to preserve desirable qualities, improve the breed and produce loving companions with excellent temperaments.
Visit our Nursery Page to meet our available puppies and learn about upcoming litters.
Raised in Our Home With Love
Our puppies are raised underfoot in a clean, nurturing home environment. Because my husband and I work from home, we are able to spend a great deal of time caring for, observing and socializing our dogs and puppies.
Our puppies receive regular interaction, affection and age-appropriate exposure to everyday household activities. They are introduced to people and other pets and are given opportunities to safely play and explore.
By the time they leave Dreamy Pups, they have already been loved, pampered and prepared for the transition into their new families.
Some of our past puppies have become therapy and service dogs, and others have been featured in Dogster, Cesar’s Way Magazine and The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Finding the Right Family
We believe that choosing the right home is just as important as choosing the right puppy. Our goal is to create a successful, lifelong match based on the puppy’s personality, expected adult size and the family’s lifestyle.
Because some of our puppies are exceptionally small and fragile, they may not be suitable for homes with young children. Placement decisions are always made with the puppy’s safety and long-term well-being in mind.
We do not sell puppies to commercial kennels. Small, responsible in-home hobby breeders may be considered on an individual basis and must receive prior approval. A veterinary reference may also be required.
Many of our puppies are reserved shortly after birth, and we often maintain a waiting list for upcoming litters.
Puppy Application
Anyone interested in welcoming one of our puppies into their family must complete our Puppy Application Form, located on the Contact Us page.
The application helps us learn about your household, lifestyle, experience and expectations so we can determine whether one of our puppies would be a suitable match.
Bringing home a puppy is a lifelong commitment. We take the responsibility of placing our puppies seriously and want every adoption to result in a happy, lasting relationship.
What Your Puppy Receives
Each Dreamy Pups puppy will receive age-appropriate care and will go home with a puppy package that may include:
-
Veterinary wellness examination
-
Age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming
-
One complimentary month of Trupanion pet insurance, subject to Trupanion’s terms and eligibility requirements
-
Sample of the puppy’s current food
-
Familiar blanket carrying the scent of the puppy’s mother and littermates
-
-
Lifelong breeder support
Optional microchipping may be available for an additional fee of $40.
The contents of the puppy package may be updated periodically depending on product availability and the individual puppy’s needs.
Lifelong Breeder Support
Our relationship with our puppy families does not end on pickup day. We are available to answer questions and provide support as your puppy settles into its new home and grows into adulthood.
We love receiving photographs and updates from our families and seeing how our puppies continue to thrive.
If you are ever unable to keep your Dreamy Pups dog, please contact us. We will assist with arranging a safe and appropriate placement. Purchase payments are not refundable under this provision, but our priority is ensuring that no Dreamy Pups dog is surrendered to a shelter or placed in an unsafe situation.
Deposits and Payments
The reservation deposit for a Biewer Terrier puppy is $850.
A puppy is not considered reserved until the required deposit and applicable agreement have been received. Prices may change until a deposit has been placed. Once a puppy is officially reserved, the agreed purchase price will be stated in the puppy contract.
Final payment for puppies picked up from our home must be made in cash unless another payment method has been approved in writing in advance.
For puppies traveling with a flight nanny, the remaining balance must be paid in full through an approved payment method early enough for the funds to clear and travel arrangements to be finalized. Payment is generally required by the time the puppy reaches eight weeks of age.
Deposits, payment terms and refund provisions are governed by the signed puppy agreement.
Flight-Nanny Delivery
Delivery and transportation expenses are not included in the puppy’s purchase price.
We work with trusted, preapproved flight nannies who accompany puppies inside the aircraft cabin and personally deliver them to their families at an agreed airport.
The purchaser is responsible for the flight nanny’s fee and all associated transportation expenses. Flight nannies often book quickly, so final payment and travel arrangements must be completed promptly and puppy paid in full by 8 weeks of age when using flight nanny.
If we are required to meet a flight nanny at the airport, an airport transportation and waiting fee may apply. The current airport meeting fee is $100 and reflects travel time, mileage and possible flight delays.
All travel arrangements are subject to airline policies, weather, availability and the puppy’s health and readiness to travel.
Estimated Adult Size and Coat Color
Any projected adult weight is an estimate—not a guarantee.
Growth rates vary, and puppies may experience unexpected growth spurts or periods of slower development. We will always provide our most honest assessment based on the puppy’s current weight, growth pattern, parents and previous puppies from similar bloodlines.
Coat color, texture and markings may also change as a puppy matures. Dreamy Pups does not guarantee a specific adult weight, size, coat color or appearance.
Visits and Puppy Safety
Protecting our puppies from parvovirus and other contagious illnesses is one of our highest priorities. For the safety of our dogs, puppies and family, access to our home and nursery may be restricted.
We are happy to arrange live video calls so approved families can see their puppy and ask questions.
Please do not place a young puppy on public floors, grass or other surfaces frequented by unfamiliar dogs until your veterinarian confirms that the puppy has completed the appropriate vaccination series.
Health Guarantee Requirements
The purchaser must arrange for the puppy to be examined by a licensed veterinarian within 48 hours of receiving the puppy.
A copy of the veterinarian’s examination report must be provided to Dreamy Pups for our records. Failure to complete the examination and provide the report within the required period may void the health guarantee.
If the examining veterinarian identifies a serious health concern:
-
Dreamy Pups must be notified on the same day.
-
The purchaser must provide a written report from the examining veterinarian.
-
Dreamy Pups reserves the right to have the puppy examined by a veterinarian of our choosing.
-
No major treatment, procedure or euthanasia may be authorized without notifying Dreamy Pups, except when immediate emergency care is necessary to protect the puppy from suffering or death.
-
Any remedy will be governed by the signed puppy contract.
The health guarantee applies only to the conditions and time periods specifically identified in the signed agreement. It does not cover routine veterinary expenses, conditions caused by stress or environmental exposure, or conditions outside the breeder’s control.
The purchaser is responsible for all veterinary expenses unless the signed agreement expressly states otherwise.
Size, adult weight, coat color, bite, fertility and breeding or show potential are not guaranteed unless specifically stated in writing.
Puppies are sold as companions unless breeding or show rights have been expressly approved and included in the written contract.
Adult and retired dogs over one year of age are not covered by the puppy health guarantee unless a separate written agreement provides otherwise.
Hypoglycemia and Small-Puppy Care
Toy-breed puppies can be susceptible to hypoglycemia, a potentially serious drop in blood sugar. Stress, inadequate food intake, changes in diet, illness and low body temperature may increase the risk.
Warning signs may include:
-
Unusual sleepiness or weakness
-
Shivering
-
Stumbling or loss of coordination
-
Pale or cool gums
-
Failure to eat
-
Reduced responsiveness
-
Collapse or seizure activity
A young puppy should eat regularly, receive adequate rest and be carefully monitored during the transition into its new home.
If your puppy shows signs of hypoglycemia or another medical emergency, contact a licensed veterinarian or emergency veterinary hospital immediately. Follow your veterinarian’s instructions regarding the use of glucose products, nutritional supplements or emergency treatment.
